When they’re not on a mission, law enforcement teams are constantly training. They sharpen their skills with classroom instruction and real-life scenarios to keep their towns and cities safe. Much like their counterparts in the air, the technicians for these law enforcement teams must complete regular safety and training sessions in the classroom. Metro Aviation is proud to offer a turnkey solution through its Training Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Maintenance Technicians can take advantage of factory maintenance training. Pratt & Whitney training by Flight Safety International, as well as Turbomeca training is available quarterly at Metro’s Training Center. Courses are scheduled through November 2014 and Metro plans to expand the curriculum to include human factors and additional topics for maintenance within the next twelve months.
The Metro Aviation Training Center is also building a curriculum for pilots, to include law enforcement scenarios in simulators. Metro is collaborating with Veritas Aerial Solutions to develop the program and hopes to release more information in the coming months.
Law enforcement programs interested in learning more about training opportunities through Metro Aviation should contact Terry Palmer at tpalmer@metro.lunabyte.io.
