The Helicopter Flight Training Center has completed the certification of its first simulator, the AS350 FlightSafety flight training device with NVG-capability. The FAA recently wrapped up their visit to the training facility to give it the green light and Metro Aviation pilots immediately began their recurrent training in the simulator.

This simulator is available for dry-lease to the helicopter community. Customers are already in line to take advantage of the dry-lease rates on the simulator and the opportunity to enhance their training and overall safety. “I’m excited about the opportunity to provide not only simulation training, but also assist operators in developing a comprehensive training program,” said Training Center Director Terry Palmer.

The AS350 sim is the first of many to arrive at the Helicopter Flight Training Center, which also offers maintenance and engine training to round out the aviation professional’s knowledge and expertise. To schedule training, contact Terry Palmer at tpalmer@metro.lunabyte.io.
