Metro Aviation is pleased to announce that Jim Arthur and Mark Breton are joining the Metro team. Jim Arthur joins as the new Director of Operations and Mark Breton is coming on board as Director of Maintenance.
Arthur will report to work in early March to begin his indoctrination and immerse himself in flight operations. Arthur is very familiar with Metro Aviation having worked closely with the company, contracting for six new EC135 aircraft. He served as the Aviation Training Manager for California Shock Trauma Air Rescue (CALSTAR) and most recently, the Director of Operations. Arthur’s knowledge of aviation management, flight operations and communications will be a great asset in collaborating with customers and managing flight operations.
Breton will start his Metro career in late March or early April and begin learning the Metro procedural and regulatory systems. He has more than 25 years in the aviation industry, with a strong background in aircraft maintenance, HEMS operations and project management. He spent most of his career in Texas, but most recently operated as the Vice President and Director of Maintenance for Air Medical Resource Group in Salt Lake City, Utah. Boasting a long list of licenses and certifications, Breton brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Metro Aviation.
“When we make hiring decisions, whether for our management team or our production shop, we always consider the needs of our customers and company,” said Metro Managing Director Milton Geltz. “I can say with confidence that the addition of Jim Arthur and Mark Breton makes a great management team even greater. Both bring to the table a youthful energy backed by substantial background in the aspects of business management we are seeking for the future.”
