Metro Aviation is increasing the curriculum offered by the new Metro Aviation Training Center with the addition of Pratt & Whitney courses presented by FlightSafety International. Pratt & Whitney factory maintenance training for the PW 206/207 will be offered quarterly at Metro’s Training Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. These instructor-led courses emphasize proactive safety, reliability, performance and quality.
The Training Center was completed in February and these additional courses are a great indicator of the expansive training Metro hopes to provide its customers and the aviation community. “The addition of Pratt & Whitney factory maintenance training to Metro Aviation’s Training Center will be a great asset to our operation and completion customers in providing them with options to receive maintenance training unique to their specific aircraft,” said Terry Palmer, Metro’s Director of Training. “We are excited about the Training Center’s progress and we look forward to additional opportunities to raise the industry standard on training.”
Pratt & Whitney classes begin October 2013. Registration is available at www.flightsafety.com.
